Rev. Dr. Agorom C. Dike'
Rev. Dr. Agorom Constantine Dike` is a native of Jamaican and Nigerian parentage. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at the age of seven and started preaching at age 15. He is a former Pastor of the Seaforth Circuit of Baptist Churches in St. Thomas Jamaica and has served in several capacities of educational, civic and religious leadership. He is a dynamic preacher, motivational speaker and teacher who ministers with deep biblical and prophetic insights and empowers his audience to be agents of transformation, liberation and hope. He has ministered at revivals, convocations, anniversaries, civic functions and workshops in numerous churches and organization throughout the United States and Jamaica.
He is an Ordained Minister of the American Baptist Churches USA and currently serves as an Associate Minister at the Paramount Baptist Church in Washington D.C. He is an Adjunct Professor at the National Bible College & Seminary in Maryland and he is the Coordinator for the Caribbean American Faith Based Leadership Network. He is also a Member of the Biblical Institute of Social Change, and an Educational Council Co-chair for the Jamaica National Association Washington DC.
Dr. Dike is an honors graduate of the University of the West Indies (UWI) and the United Theological College of the West Indies (UTCWI). He pursued a Masters of Divinity Degree at the Howard University School of Divinity where he successfully completed his Doctor of Ministry Degree in May 2009 with a concentration in Multicultural and International Missions. He has written several papers which include: A Theology of Prophetic Urban Missions, Theological and Practical Approaches for Multicultural Evangelism, the Role of African American Preaching and the Decriminalization of “Out of Status Immigrants”.
He is a recipient of several awards including the Faculty Research Scholar Award by Howard University School of Divinity 2007, the International Scholar Laureate Award 2008, the 20th Youth Conference and Rally Award for Outstanding Youth Leadership-by the Jamaica Baptist Union 2004, Outstanding Community Service Award- Seaforth Community Development Association 2005.
His philosophy in life is: “With God all things are possible; and the will of God will never lead you where the grace of God cannot keep you.”
